Manual upgrade Oracle 8i InterMedia to Oracle 9i

Summary
After Manual upgrading Oracle 8i to Oracle9i if you have installed Oracle InterMedia you have to upgrade also. Upgrade of InterMedia must be done after upgrading database and can be a separate procedure at a later time.

The steps to Upgrade Oracle InterMedia from 8.1.7 to 9.2.0 are:

First of all use Oracle9i Home and binaries
1. SQL> connect / as SYSDBA
and execute
First upgrade Oracle interMedia Common Files.
sql>@$ORACLE_HOME/ord/admin/u0801070.sql;

Then upgrade interMedia.
sql>@$ORACLE_HOME/ord/im/admin/u0801070.sql;

Connect as ORDSYS and check if all components are upgraded.
sql>@$ORACLE_HOME/ord/im/admin/imchk.sql;
