Summary
After a fresh installation of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 you are trying to connect using MS Internet Explorer 8 and get the error:

FRM-92050. Failed to connect to the Server: /forms/lservlet-1

Tip:Changing the configuration options of the browser, you can bypass the problem.

Workaround:Open the IE 8 browser and go to menu
Tools -> Internet Options and click the tab Security.
Then select the zone: Trusted Sites and click the button Custom level and Disable the XSS filter

You can also add as a trusted site the specific site
